CreActive Dialogues: talks, sharing and promotion of projects and works important for local (vs global environments)
The 15 minutes events are short introductions of each author and their works in the form of a dialogue between the artist and public within their specific visual practice field. The introductions of selected works and projects widely connect with the fields of artistic practices and creative industries, are specific regarding their context and ideas, and are important for the creative sphere of the space in which they are made.
The 15 minutes events are designed to facilitate an introduction of artistic production to a wider audience and to provide the authors with the opportunity to defend, introduce and rethink the work in interaction with the audience. Short public interventions in the form of presentations are also aimed at sparking the interest in the production, taking place in a specific space, and to encourage an open exchange of ideas. The 15 minutes platform aims to become synonym with creative gatherings and the exchange of views within a wider visual discipline. Everyone and anyone, is free to comment, argue, criticize and communicate the ideological side of the creative formation.
Due to COVID-19 challenges, Independent Biennial is planning to start online conversations to open the dialogue with the wider public and to continue promoting the awareness of an ongoing visual production and its authors.
